Our Story

While Ibrox was founded in 2022, our Managing Director Derek Warrington has notched up almost four decades of experience in engineering and manufacturing.

Derek was born into the engineering world. From the age of 10, Derek spent weekends in his father’s engineering shop, standing on a milk crate to hone his skills on the machines. By 14, he was working full-time. Over the next 36 years he worked his way up and contributed to the growth of what would become the largest privately owned Okuma precision engineering shop in the Southern Hemisphere.

When it came time to start his own company, Derek drew from his Scottish heritage. Ibrox is named after the stadium of his beloved football team, the Glasgow Rangers. It’s a name that reflects our own tradition, pride and commitment.

Across industries, our clients know we deliver. We get the job done, on time and with the highest possible quality.

Meet Our Team

Behind every success story is a dedicated team. Derek’s wife Natasha Warrington manages the office with efficiency and aplomb, while we also have two full-time machinists, Lenny and Oder. Our kids are now often working in the business too.

With our family-centred approach, we’re not just a company. We’re a community, driven by shared values and a commitment to surpassing expectations. Ibrox thrives on collaboration, expertise, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
